Our vision as the Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health Services Division of Egyptian Health Department (EHD) is to provide quality services that are family driven, youth-guided, strengths-based and culturally competent; meaning services are customized to fit family’s unique needs. Children, adolescents and their families will be provided equal services regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, race, sexual orientation, religion, socio-economic status, etc.
Comprehensive Community-based Youth Services (CCBYS)
For families who experience runaways, lockouts and children (ages 11-17) refusing to return home.
Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation
An intervention that teams a mental health professional with early childhood professionals to improve the social, emotional and behavioral health of children in child care and early education programs.
Family Resource Developers (FRD)
FRDs provide resources, transportation to mental health appointments, attend meetings, assist families through mental health services.
Family Therapy
Helping families to improve the communication, solve family problems, how to understand & handle family situations, and create a better, functioning home environment.
Can be seen at home or in office.

FIRST.IL
FIRST.IL is a comprehensive, team-based treatment aimed at improving mental health and quality of life for individuals who have experienced a first episode of a psychotic illness. FIRST.IL is intended for individuals who are between the ages of 14 to 40 and have had a treated or untreated psychotic illness for no more than 18 months.
Eligible diagnoses are schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, schizophreniform disorder, other specified/unspecified schizophrenia spectrum, other than psychotic disorder, bipolar disorder with psychotic features, major depressive disorder with psychotic features, and PTSD.

High-Fidelity Wraparound
A process used with families where traditional services have not typically been successful and there are a number of complex needs. This is a team-based approach.
Individual Care Grant (ICG) Program
Through HFS that offers more supports and funding for youth under age 18 involved with SASS or who have a serious emotional disturbance.
Intensive Placement Stabilization (IPS)
Offers services for children and adolescents who are youth in care of the Department of Children and Family Services.
Outpatient Mental Health
Individual counseling, family & group services. All clients go through a mental health assessment.
Screening, Assessment & Support Services (SASS)
Provides intensive counseling, crisis intervention and case management.
